It’s amazing how we have been prepared for this work.
Both of us have been working as full time faculty at LeTourneau University. Karen has been leading the Wheels research project that brought this urgent need to our attention. Phil’s avocation has been photography. His expertise will enable him to tell compelling stories of those who need wheelchairs. We’re looking forward to partnering with you to bring hope to many who have been isolated by disability. Our plan is to do this by facilitating wheelchair services at hospitals in Africa.
Our goal is to facilitate wheelchair and assistive technology services at the hospitals.
We will do this through collaborative networking, grant writing, and by telling the story through photography and videography. We will also be leading teams to come alongside, train and encourage.
